Pearls are certainly the most feminine of gems. I find their magical shapes, colors and luster to be a great pleasure. Pearls are an endless source of design inspiration for me. In contrast to all the other gemstones I work with, pearls aren't ancient minerals crystallized deep in the earth. They are truly organic gems recently formed by living mollusks in the water of our beautiful planet. Nearly all pearls are cultured by pearl farmers, in a sustainable relationship between farmer and mollusk. Pearls each have their own distinctive characteristics and personality. From "timeless classic" to "modern exotic" in nature these gems offer an amazing variety and diversity. In their very special and luscious way, they make the woman wearing them glow.
